RobynRobyn Onspaugh- Founder/Director, Lead Investigator

"I am a stay home mother to two young children, married to a wonderful, supportive husband. I am also the founder of LSPIR.
My interest in the paranormal began at a very early age and never waned over the years. When we moved in to our house back in 2001, we immediately began to hear strange noises during the night. Unexplained banging and crashing sounds that never revealed anything out of order when we went to check on things. Then, in the early part of the summer in 2007, activity seemed to increase significantly. It was then that my interest in the paranormal became a journey into the field of paranormal investigating. Over the past year, this team has grown into something that I can only describe as amazing. I look forward to the coming years with this team and helping more people in our communities.

John Howard- Director of Technical Operations, Senior Investigator

"I first became interested in the paranormal at a young age.
Then after my father passed away a day before my 13th birthday, I became more curious about it.
Watching him slip away my thought was, where did he go? Is that all there is? We flicker out like a candle?
Over the years I became more interested, and some minor incidents that intrigued me. Then the one that really got me involved my son, my wife and me were looking at old photos with my son who was 4 at the time. We came to a photo of my father and my son said “HEY I KNOW THAT GUY!”. We looked at him and said really and he says “HIS NAME IS JUST LIKE MINE”, which is true he is named after my father. He then said “I have talked to him before.” I began to tear up with a feeling of sadness and joy. From that moment on I began to wonder more and more what happens when we leave this world? What cause’s a Haunting? Do Spirits have a choice? Can they come and go as they please? Do they know they are dead? Or do we have the concept of death all wrong?
These are some of the answers I hope to find as an investigator and help people understand this is nothing to fear."

Amy
Amy Passarella- Assistant Director of LSPIR, Senior Investigator

"My name is Amy and I'm married with two four legged furry children. (No human babies just yet) I've been involved with the study of the Paranormal for the last 10 years. Six of those years as a member of a local research team. My interest in the paranormal has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. It was my belief that there very well could be a "ghost in my closet" when I was growing up. I was an only child so frequently had an "imaginary friend". Although I can not remember details of this friend today, I am certain that my companion was a soul from the other side. It wasn't until I was a young adult that I experienced my first true ghostly encounter. After that I began doing formal research and study on the subject. My bookshelf is full of books on the paranormal and its rare that I miss a documentary about hauntings. There have been more instances than I can count that I have physically experienced phenomenon. I'm looking forward to contributing to a group who is fun to work with and respects those that have departed this world. I'm excited to be working with LSPIR. If its possible to prove that there is life after this life, even if just to a handful of folks, I know that living life here in this plane of existence would change. The stresses of life may, indeed, subside knowing that we exist far beyond our lives here."

Kristi
Kristi Jeans- Technical Operations Assistant, Senior Investigator

"My name is Kristi and by day I am a Corporate Recruiter, by night I hunt haunts. I initially became interested in the paranormal at an early age in an effort to reduce the fears I had as a child growing up in a house next to a cemetary. I started investigating solo soon after the first ghosthunting show aired on tv, using alot of their methods.
After moving to Georgia, I became involved with a ghosthunting network there to increase my skills. I am very happy now to become a part of Lachesis Sight and hope to continue to increase my knowledge of the paranormal as well as help others to conquer their fear of it."

Ron
Ron Rasmussen- Director of Central FL Division, Lead Investigator

"I became interested in the paranormal shortly after my father died from a long illness. I always had this feeling that he was watching me from
his bedroom every time I walked past it. So, I thought, "Could that be
true? Could he still be here?" Years later, I experienced strange
noises in a building where someone had tragically died. Again, I asked myself "Could that person still be here?" Now, I have an opportunity to answer my own questions."

Beth
Beth Christian- Case Manager, Senior Investigator

"I am the single mom of a teenage daughter, and two furry felines. By day, I manage projects and work in the training and consulting industry. My passion is writing, and in addition to being a blogger, I'm working on a book of essays. My interest in the paranormal began in childhood. As a member of the church choir, I recall the priest telling us he thought the church was haunted! Imagine - a priest saying this. But we were fascinated, and in fact, my mother believed it too. She worked on the altar guild, and we were often at church late at night, setting up for the next service. We clearly heard footsteps one night, and then the sound of tapping. We looked and no one was there. When my mom mentioned it to the priest, he said that's exactly what he was talking about, and he believed it was a ghost. We heard this on other occasions and it was universally accepted that this was the "ghost of St. Timothy's". I've had various paranormal experiences through the years, and have been part of an investigation group. I am open-minded and enjoy reading about different views on the afterlife. I believe that spirits continue after the leave this life, and that we can feel their energies, or connect with them if we have that ability. I feel privileged to work with people who are looking for answers about the activity going on in their homes, and help bring them peace of mind."

 melissaMelissa *- Senior Investigator

"I am Melissa and a working mom to two small boys by day, ghost hunter by night.   I don’t know if my interest in the paranormal or my experiences came first.  Either way, as long as I can recall I have wanted to better understand things that happen that , so far, science hasn’t explained.  I believe there is much to learn and am so happy to be on a team that embraces a scientific approach to this field.   However, my appreciation for the scientific aspect is well balanced with the emotional side of the paranormal.  It’s easy to fear what you don’t understand  and so I believe strongly if you are experiencing something that is paranormal it is extremely important to talk about it, with friends, clergy or a member of an investigation team.   Chances are you will find many people who have had experiences that defy logic.  My personal goal as a member of this team is to lend emotional support to our clients who are fearful.  Knowledge is power and if I can help to empower someone with the knowledge we gain through the science of what we do than I feel I am accomplishing something."

John W John Wilson- Demonologist

"My primary focus is to help people who are encountering malevolent entities.
My experience with the paranormal goes back to my early childhood. The one recurring theme during all of this time was that most of them were negative in nature. For most of my life I ignored it and even tried to convince myself that there was not a spritual component to this world.
There came a point when I could no longer ignore what was going on. The reality of the spiritual could no longer be denied. My search for answers brought me to the Christian faith. It is that faith that has proven time and again the key to dealing with these entities and their influence."
