Herden House

Investigators present: Robyn, Melissa, Alice and Don.

Equipment used: 3 IR night vision security cameras, DVR, 1
EMF detector, 2 Olympus voice recorders, 1 Nikon D40X digital camera, another
digital camera (model unknown), and 1 High 8 digital video camera.

Areas investigated: living room, dining room, small
computer/spare bedroom, master bedroom.

Witness Reports:

-Sounds of piano playing have heard in the house via voice
recorder between the hours of 10pm and 2am in the living room/dining area.

-A shadow person was seen in the living room several months
ago at approximately 10pm. This shadow was not seen by looking directly at it
but, instead as a reflection in a sliding glass door. The witness was standing
still and watched as the shadow continued to walk toward him in the window.

-Sounds of what could only be described as a dog whimpering
have also been captured on a voice recorder set up to record during the night.
This event also occurred between the hours of 10pm and 2am.

-Another sound captured on the voice recorder was that of a
female saying, "You can't find me".

These recording were done by the homeowner independently of
our investigation.

We split into two teams, alternating people within those
teams during the investigation. One team would monitor the DVR and cameras
while the other investigated the areas in question. Not much seemed to happen
for the larger part of the night.

It wasn't until Alice, Melissa and Robyn were seated in the
living room conducting an EVP session while Don monitored the cameras that we
began to notice things.

The room appeared to darken several times.

At one point, Robyn says she sees a white mist of sorts pass
in front of them from left to right.

Shortly after that Melissa sees what she believed at the
time was a reflection on the tile floor just above the step into the living
room from the dining room near the mini bar where our cameras were positioned.

It wasn't until the video was reviewed that we saw what
Melissa had reported seeing that night. The "object" that Melissa saw
appears in the video just as she had witnessed it in full view. Although, upon
further inspection of the video, we have come to the conclusion that this
object is not a reflection yet free floating. This can be seen as the
apparition moves fluidly from the step in the dining room over the end table
next to the chair in the living room. There were no lights on in that room
other than the IR LED's from the security cameras. The IR LED lights would not have caused
such an image. The image can be seen three seperate times during the recording from the camera located on the mini bar aimed in the direction of the front door. It's location and path is not the same each time it's seen. Although it does appear to maintain the same size and shape, it's movements do vary.

Two EVPs were captured that night as well. One of those
sounds captured; Melissa, Alice and Robyn were able to hear with their own ears.
While sitting in the living room during the EVP session all three women heard a
breath come from the dining room area directly behind where Alice was seated. This breath sounded that of
a male voice.

The other EVP we got was a direct answer to a question that
Melissa had asked.

We are posting both the original and the amplified version
for easier interpretation. The question that was posed was, "Are you the
person that plays the piano?" The answer appears to be a male voice
saying, "I'm not".

We have concluded that there is paranormal activity in the
Herden Residence. The homeowners do not mind sharing their home with the
entities that reside there. Alice
continues to conduct EVP sessions in her home from time to time and has not yet
been disappointed.
