What To Expect
When first contacting Lachesis Sight Paranormal Investigation and Research, we take the information from the client as to what has transpired at the location in question. The client will provide us with their name, address and telephone number and we will then set up a time and place for a person to person interview. The purpose of the on site interview is to gather more detailed information of the location and the occurrences there, explain to the client the process in which an investigation is conducted and to interview other persons that may have valuable information to offer the team. If the team determines that an investigation is warranted based on this interview we then schedule a date to bring in our equipment.
Investigations are usually carried out during evening hours when the sun is down. This could even include an overnight visit depending on the client's wishes, the amount of evidence gathered or the level activity at the location. Daytime investigations are also welcome. It depends on what the client is most comfortable with or if their schedule does not allow for evening/night hours.
It is also important that clients understand that while an investigation is in progress, it is better that the homeowner find somewhere to wait. They can continue to stay at the location being investigated but, we prefer that the client does not interfere in any way with the investigation. We have found that clients that choose to become a part of the case have a tendency to sway the investigation in a particular direction. This is not always in the best interest of the client when it comes to finding the truth behind the paranormal activity. LSPIR must go into each case unassuming of the spirits that may or may not be haunting the location. If we are continuously being asked if deceased Aunt Bessie is in the home and to direct all questions to her, we could potentially alienate other spirits that may be in the home. We certainly understand the curiosity that clients may have when it comes to how an investigation is performed and what evidence may be found during that time. Unfortunately, most of our evidence isn't revealed until after we have left the premises and begun to review the recorded information. Many investigations can be long, boring and without experiences. So, in an effort to give the client the most precise, accurate evidence we can, we ask that clients try to occupy their time with other activities while the investigation is in progress.
Once the evidence has been analyzed, a meeting is set up with the client to discuss the team's findings. Follow up investigations may be performed in cases where the evidence was inconclusive or corrupted. All return visits made by our team are at the discretion of the client. The client is also given copies of any and all evidence collected by LSPIR.
LSPIR does have a Statement of Qualifications that is available to all
clients upon request. This SOQ is a hard copy and will be hand
delivered to any client that requests it during the pre investigation
interview.
