LSPIR is the Paranormal Investigation Team located in western Pasco County, Florida serving clients in the greater Tampa Bay area.
Having assembled in August of 2007, LSPIR has been investigating the paranormal in Tampa Bay for nearly one year. And while we may not have been together as a team as long as some others in this region have, a few of our members have many years of experience. We have recently been fortunate enough to acquire members that were previously apart of other well known groups in both Florida and Georgia.
We are not only growing in size as an investigative team but, we are also growing in popularity around Tampa Bay. LSPIR is quickly becoming one of the most recognized Paranormal Research teams in the area. With state of the art equipment and a scientific approach, we promise to deliver the most accurate and honest results to our clients.
LSPIR cares about and understands the people in our communities that are dealing with unexplained phenomena. Several of these team members have experienced paranormal phenomena in their own lives, which helps give them a better understanding of what our clients are going through. Some of us continue to live with paranormal experiences on a daily basis in our own homes, aside from the work we do with the group. That is why we have assembled this group of honest, hard working researchers and investigators, to lend a sympathetic and empathetic hand to those whom need it.
LSPIR promises to provide a discreet and professionalized service to clients seeking an answer to the unexplained occurances taking place within their home or office.
LSPIR does not charge for investigations. We are a not for profit organization, although we do accept donations.

About our Team's Name-
The meaning and definition of Lachesis (LAK-eh-sis):
In Greek mythology, Lachesis was the second of the Three Fates, or Moirae.
She was the apportioner, deciding how much time for life was to be allowed for each person or being. She measured the thread of life with her rod. She is also said to choose a person's destiny after a thread was measured. In mythology, it is said that she appears with her sisters within three days of a baby's birth to decide its fate. Her Roman equivalent was Decima. According to Hesiod's Theogony, she and her sisters (Atropos and Clotho) are the daughters of Nyx (Night). In other accounts, they are said to be the daughters of Zeus and Themis as well as several other beings such as Chaos and Ananke. Lachesis is also mentioned in the tenth book of the Republic of Plato as the daughter of Necessity. She instructs the souls who are about to choose their next life, assign them lots, and presents them all of the kinds, human and animal, from which they may choose their next life.

We want to see, or catch sight, of what happens when life is done. Is there something more? Many think so. There have been events that so far, cannot be explained. It's those events we want to the opportunity to see. Perhaps, with enough research and studying, we may someday be able to finally explain the unexplainable.
